Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
Furlough:
As of this December, we will have been in Chile for 4 ½ years. We have had the privilege of starting Iglesia Bautista Amistad as well as seeing God do a great work in the lives of many people. We have seen people saved, seen the saints of God grow in His wisdom and are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in the future with this church and His people. After furlough, we will continue working in this church with plans of actually buying a building and helping this church to grow in number and in strength. Along with this work, be in prayer with us as we plan on starting another work out of Iglesia Bautista Amistad. There are more places than we can count that need a fundamental Baptist church in the country of Chile, South America.
That being said: Our family will be coming back to the States for a time of furlough. We will be reporting to our supporting churches, spending some time with our family and getting into some new churches as well.
For our supporting churches: We will be booking meetings starting in the month of January and going up to the month of September. Pastors: During this time, if you would like for us to come by and share what has been going on in the ministry in Chile and give a report: Send me an email at, chrismcbryar@mwbm.org and let me know when would be a good time for us to visit you and your church. We are so thankful for how faithful each one of you have been: supporting us through your prayer and financial support. We look forward to seeing many of our brothers and sisters in Christ that we had met on deputation.
Thank you for the extra:
In our May and June prayer letter, we had mentioned the need of school curriculum and passports. There was the cost of the school curriculum and shipping of it for around $900.00 and passports at the cost of $315.00. We want to personally thank each and every church and person that gave extra for these needs. It was truly a blessing and help to us in a tremendous way!
–Pray with us as we get prepared for this coming furlough!–
Thank you and God Bless,
Chris and Stephanie McBryar
